CourtSystem.org is an avid supporter of the local community by making it easy for citizens of the United States to connect with representatives of their local courts and legal system.
They are offering a scholarship to help enrich the lives of our future leaders, law makers, judges, lawyers, law enforcement officers and all other upstanding citizens alike as a quality education is the backbone of a bright future, and are pleased to offer a scholarship award to eligible students and welcome our students to apply.
They award a $1,000 scholarship bi-annually to students selected as finalists for their responses on the following prompt: “Why the legal and judiciary system (including courts, jails, police departments, sheriffs, et al) are important to a well founded and structured society” . Students who are US Citizens aged 16 years or older who are currently in their senior year of high schools and those currently enrolled in accredited institutions of higher learning are eligible to apply. Finalist will have scholarship awards sent directly to the financial aid/bursar office of their enrollment. Students who have applied but were not selected as finalists are urged to re-apply biannually. Note: Your intended field of study or intended occupation need not be related to the legal system in order to be eligible.
Deadlines are as follows: January 31 and April 30
