Young Adults Interested in Careers in Web Development

On Saturday, April 29th from 10am to 5pm, Maverick Landing Community Services will be hosting a day-long hackathon at our computer lab.  What is a hackathon? Professionals from the IT fields will be on hand to teach you programming and coding basics.

A select number of participants will be asked to join a 2-month bootcamp from July to August and after that, we will place the top performers in a paid internship at the Resilient Lab working on real websites for private sector clients with the long term goal of placing participants in a high-paid job as a front end or back end website developer for a Fortune 500 company.

Please pass this opportunity along participants who might be interested. And if they aren’t sure, they can still register for the hackathon to see if it’s something they might be interested in doing.

Anyone who is interested can contact Rita@mavericklanding.org for more information.

Anyone who is interested can also go to www.eastiecoders.com they can register for the hackathon.
